Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
Makes 1 ½ quarts of ice cream.

- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2-5 drops green food coloring
Dissolve the sugar in the milk in a separate bowl using a whisk or hand mixer. (about 2 minutes)
Pour mixture into the ice cream maker, and turn on.
Add in the heavy cream, peppermint extract, and food coloring.
Allow mixture to churn until thick. (about 10 minutes)
Add chocolate chips and churn for another 5 minutes.
