Do you know someone who is a lover of all things beauty? Get them a gift that will never be left collecting dust with these gift ideas. And the best part? They’re all $50 and under!
Gifts for Eyeshadow Palette Lovers
I love a good makeup palette as much as the next person, but the price tag on a lot of them is something I can’t always justify. But, a palette makes a great gift for the makeup lover in your life!
Rosy & Pink Tones
If you’re looking to gift a rosy eyeshadow palette, you can’t go wrong with the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. It came out years ago, but it’s still one of my most used palettes. (it’s also great for bridal looks!) Recently a mini version was released, but I personally wouldn’t get it. If you want a smaller option, get one of the 9 pans from ColourPop.

Neutral Tones
Neutral “basic” palettes are essential for any makeup lover. There’s lots out there to choose from, so gifting one to any makeup lover can be overwhelming or frustrating. I have a bunch of different ones from a variety of brands. But, my two current favorites are newer to my collection, both from ColourPop. (I recently decided to finally try ColourPop’s palettes, so I’m still a bit in the ‘honeymoon’ phase with the brand)
Tarte Palettes
Tarte is a brand that gets some negative criticism in the beauty community, but it’s been one of my favorite brands for years. They may not have the most unique palettes, but the Tartelette palettes are reliable and easy to use, and are great neutral options. I personally have the Original, In Bloom, and Toasted, and I love them all.
All 5 Tartelette palettes are available for purchase at Ulta or the Tarte website
Gifts for Skincare, Haircare, and Nailcare Lovers
If you don’t want to gift an eyeshadow palette, there’s still lots of options for cosmetic related gifts for makeup lovers. Don’t overlook hair, skin, or nail products- they can be just as great or even better than makeup.
Gifts for Vanity Lovers
Do you know someone who takes pride in their vanity? Or maybe you know someone that has their products everywhere. Here are some gifts that are practical, but would be much appreciated!
This storage tower and the nail polish wall rack are are the exact items that I use to store my goodies. When I first order the tower, one of the drawers came cracked. I reached out to the company and they immediately send me a replacement. Since you can mix and match each ‘section’ I can make a giant tower if I wanted to. And, I have an acrylic makeup brush holder that has a cover. It’s so nice to not see dust on my brushes if I don’t apply makeup every day.
And the nail polish racks… I display my polish quite proudly. I love looking at all my shades when they’re organized and on my wall. If you don’t like the idea of 1 solid piece, there’s also options for individual shelves. But, if you’re concerned about the weight being held up by the screws, don’t worry. It’s extremely secure and I never once worried about my precious polishes crashing to the floor.
Stocking Stuffers
And finally, we have the stocking stuffers. Makeup products are super easy stocking stuffers or filler gifts (more on that here) and are a great way to utilize samples, travel sizes, and gift sets. If you see a lip gloss set that’s has 5 lip glosses, you can open the set yourself and gift 5 friends their own gloss.
When I was working in retail and needed items for coworker gifts, breaking up sets or taking advantage of sales that had a set amount of items for X dollars (think Bath and Body works hand sanitizer deals any 5 for $5) was a life-saver. And even better for when you feel obligated to give someone something but don’t know them super well, like some coworkers.
