Are you looking for the best spring nail polish shades? Here are my 5 polish picks. This was surprisingly difficult to do. Normally I gravitate towards dark colors, but I have so many good pastels.
These polishes are all from Essie. This wasn’t intentional, but when picking out favorites that are also still available for you to pick up, it just worked out that way.
All of the swatch photos are 2 coats of the color, and no base or top coat.
Beachy Keen
You know there had to be a pink shade in this post. Personally, I like wearing pale pinks or neon pinks the best. But, Essie’s Beachy Keen is a beautiful peachy-pink shade that most people would probably like. (I like the shade, it’s just not my favorite on my skin tone)
This shade was from last spring’s Sunny Business collection, and I believe it’s been discontinued. But, you can still purchase it on sale at Beyond Polish, so grab it while you can!

Sunny Business
Sunny Business is another polish from last year’s spring collection of the same name. This shade is a beautiful pale yellow with golden shimmer throughout.
I do have a little trouble getting the shade to be opaque, but is possible to do with patience. Or, you could wear it with a slight sheer/jelly look to it. I just insist on opacity in my polishes. Either way, it’s a gorgeous shade.

Urban Jungle
If you’re looking for an easy color to wear all year long, Urban Jungle is for you. This cream shade looks great on all skin tones, and works for any season. But, I love wearing nudes like this during the spring and summer.

Seas the Day
I love mint nail shades. When you look at my racks of polish, there are so many mints. But obviously I need them all- they’re all different!
Seas the Day is the third polish from the Sunny Business collection from last year. It is a pretty mint shade with a blue-toned shimmer. The shimmer is very subtle and doesn’t photograph well, but it looks gorgeous in person!
If you’re looking for a similar shade with no shimmer, I recommend Mint Candy Apple or Blossom Dandy. Blossom Dandy is my favorite (yes, Dad this is the shade you bought me 😄).

Bikini So Teeny
Bikini So Teeny is one of those ‘classic’ Essie shades. It’s a cornflower blue shade with shimmer throughout. Depending on the lighting, this can lean more blue or purple, but that’s just another reason why this shade is a spring polish staple.
