Apparently it’s June already?!? Not sure how that happened. Either way, the season of bright, neon nails is coming up- so today I wanted to share my favorite nail polish colors for summer.
Butler Please
Essie’s “Butler Please,” is a beautiful, bold, and bright blue color. It has a creme finish, and with a super glossy top coat like this one, it’s always one of my favorite nail polish colors for the summer.

Chillato
“Chillato” is the perfect pale lime-green shade. It looks beautiful on the nails and doesn’t lean too yellow or green. It’s just the perfect blend.

Feeling Wellies
I’m not an orange person, but “Feeling Wellies” is a summer favorite. It immediately makes me think of a ‘pretty’ creamsicle. While it’s bright, it has a loft of softness to it that for me, makes it wearable.

Can Dew Attitude
I always forget about this shade. It’s a pale, slightly muted pastel green shade. It’s not overly bright, but it is a nice cross between ‘professional’ and most of the summer nail polish colors we see each year.

Play Date
“Play Date” is one of those shades that people love, and I don’t get. There’s something about this polish that makes it my least favorite out of this bunch. I think the tone of it is what gets me. Either way, it still is a beautiful purple color that’s not too pale, but also not a bright shade that’s also dark, and I’ve been wearing it a lot over the past few weeks.

Mint Greens
Mint green nail polish colors are some of my go-to shades, all year round. It’s a shade that post polish fans have heard of, and it’s just as beautiful as ever. “Seas the Day” is a newer shade, and has a shimmer to it, where “Mint Candy Apple” is a creme.
Both of those polishes are available on Amazon, but a similar shade, “Blossom Dandy,” is my personal favorite mint, that leans a little bit more on the blue side. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find, so if you see this shade somewhere, grab it!

The Ultimate Summer Nail Color – Pink!
For this post, I picked the 3 pink shades that I’ve been gravitating towards lately. But, if you like more pale pinks, be sure to check out this pale pink comparison post. If you like the pale shade shown below, check out that post to see how it compares to other popular pink shades.
I’ve been loving “Beachy Keen,” “Throw in the Towel,” and “No Shade Here,” for my nails lately. All three of these colors are creme – there’s no shimmer, glitter, or anything else in them. But look at how shiny they are without a top coat! With a top coat they’re even better.
