Come Here and Kiss Me is a student/professor spicy romance written by M. Robinson and Willow Winters. This is the first book I’ve read by either author, though I many of their books in my TBR.

The Story
Brooklyn Chambers is a rich socialite who lives her life as she pleases- as long as her father funds her life. Ronan Wolf is a professor at the university where Brook’s father is the Dean. Ronan has been Brook’s crush for as long as she can remember, but the over 10 year age gap prevented anything from ever happening between them. Not to mention their families hate each other.
After one steamy night between Ronan and Brook a video emerges of the two of them. Neither one of them released the video, and in order to protect Ronan’s job, they claim they are engaged and have been in a secret relationship that never was ‘just one night.’ When her father cuts her off, Brook moves in with Ronan, and they work to prove to the world that their relationship is real.

My Verdict on Come Here and Kiss Me
Overall, Come Here and Kiss Me, is a 2 star read for me. There was a lot of spice, and it felt like more time was spent on crafting those scenes, and not the book as a whole. Don’t get me wrong, the spice was great. But I also found the very first chapter to be the best spice in the book. After that, nothing compared.
There were also several major continuity issues throughout the story, most involving clothes being worn or their location during a spicy scene. At one point Ronan opens the door wearing only silk pajama pants. but the next page has his belt being removed. I went back and read it multiple times because I was so confused. After that, I noticed more and more errors like that.
I have seen other reviews that mentioned these errors as well, and some that even suggested one author wrote the first half of the book, and the other wrote the second but not much editing or discussion occurred to ensure those issues didn’t happen. I’m not sure how it works when 2 writers work on one book together. But, this issue does make me weary of reading others like it. And since I haven’t read anything from either author before… not a great introduction.
The book is a good palate cleanser. It’s a quick, lighthearted read. If you’re looking for a book you can read in one sitting, this is a great option. But it just doesn’t compare to other books out there.
