Happy first day of winter! Are you a winter lover like I am? It’s finally my favorite season, and I couldn’t be happier about it – unless it starts snowing of course. To mark the first day of winter and Blogmas Day 21, I’m sharing another seasonal quote post! If you haven’t read my posts for the other 3 seasons, you can find them below.
1. “In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.” – Albert Camus
2. “There’s just something beautiful about walking on snow that nobody else has walked on. It makes you believe you’re special.” – Carol Rifka Brunt
3. “Snow isn’t just pretty. It also cleanses our world and our senses, not just of the soot and grime of a mining town, but also of a kind of weary familiarity, a taken-for-granted quality to which our eyes are all too susceptible.” – John Burnside
4. “Snow provokes responses that reach right back to childhood.” – Andy Goldsworthy
5. “Advice is like the snow. The softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon and the deeper it sinks into the mind.” – Samuel Taylor Coleridge

6. “When it snows, you have two choices: shovel or make snow angels.” – Unknown
7. “The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different.” – J.B. Priestly
8. “We cannot stop the winter or the summer from coming. We cannot stop the spring or the fall or make them other than they are. They are gifts from the universe that we cannot refuse. But we can choose what we will contribute to life when each arrives.” – Garry Zukhav
9. “To shorten winter, borrow some money due in spring.” – W.J. Vogel
10. “A snowflake is one of God’s most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together!” – unknown

So which winter quote is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below! I think #7 is my favorite, but, #4 describes me perfectly. What’s your favorite season?
